We had the opportunity to host our friends from Sweden, Bo and Sophie Paulsson from the Klara Foundation. The Foundation was established in honour of their daughter Klara who died in 2017. Klara’s wish was to support organisations that help women and children in South Africa, and the Foundation sponsored life-skills training for the MathMoms in 2018. On 13 January [2020] Bo, Sophie, and their family (Maths, Berit, Jacob, Elins, Olle, and Ivar) had the opportunity to meet with the women who benefited from the training, and to celebrate their achievements with them. We are deeply grateful for their continued interest in the programme, and the opportunity to do what we do best – build community and connection – across borders and continents.
