Forest bathing experience

Forest bathing experience

This past Friday, a group of MathMom Interns and YeBoneers visited Intaka Island for some forest bathing. Here you can share in this moment of calm, as experienced through the senses of our participants. Forest bathing is a form of nature therapy where the focus is on really taking in the forest with all one’s senses – bathing in the sights and smells and sounds of the forest (although it was quite a stormy day, as you’ll be able to hear…so we were literally bathed as well!)

We were guided digitally by Carike from Aardwolf Nature Connection, and organised this adventure in partnership with the Bosnian NGO, UG Pomozimo Djeci, who also participated from their corner of the world. We connected with the group in Bosnia through The Resilience Fund’s grantee network, and hope to collaborate on more events in the future.
